September 26, 1999...... Lawrenceburg, TN
Crockett Theatre
Announcers: John Ward and Dan McKnight
John Ward: Hello fans, and welcome to Fox-17 and TCW.. live from the historic Crockett Theatre in beautiful Lawrenceburg, Tennessee!
Dan: Hi John... and hello fans!
John: And headlining tonight's card is the battle for both the TCW Mid South and World Tag Team Titles... the TXO duos of the Good Old Boys and the Loose Cannons will battle it out and then in a rematch of one of the biggest feuds from last year, Lobo and Odin will match up against the Think Tank... what a night!
Dan: John, with so much that we have to talk about, let's get right to updating our fans on what we have already seen so far tonight?
John: I agree Daniel my man, take it away!
Dan: The fans were entertained in our first match with the TCW Extreme Champion and huge fan favorite, The Heartbreaker Ric Justus.... he took on the veteran Sir Kilgore... Justus was on fire tonight as he just dominated Kilgore, whipping him from pillar to post! He used some big power moves to weaken Kilgore and in just under three minutes had him up in the Scales of Justus!! Referee Joey Carteris had a devil of a time getting the Heartbreaker to release the hold and when he finally did, Kilgore was unable to walk from the ring and had to be stretchered out! The man of few words then grabbed a microphone and had this to say......
"Hex.....Savage.....this is only a taste of what has yet to come!!"
John: WOW! And then he tossed the mic down and walked away...
Winner: Ric Justus......3:11
*************************************************
Dan: Don Haney came out and thanked a pretty big crowd of almost 500
for showing up and then tossed in several added matches.... Here are the
results from those:
Colt Steele defeated Tito Mendoza in 4:10 with a piledriver
Interrigator beat Silver Eagle in :55 with a top rope DDT
Steve Akers took Big Boy Bell in 1:57 via DQ when Bell groveled referee Joey Carteris
Venom beat Elmer Adonis by countout in 6:20 when Elmer left the ring for a Sausage Pizza!!
Gord "The Hammer" Perry trounced Stanley Stanley in :40 with a flying top rope headbutt
Dr. Midnight beat Tojo Saito with the malpractice in 2:23 and then drove an enema into his nostril!
Caleb "Zanthur" Zandt secured his first TCW singles triumph with a win over Jobber the Hutt, using a leg drop to get the win in 2:41
Falconer (who is also the EWA Cruiserweight Champion) defeated Phil Wreenkle with a missile dropkick in 1:32
Havok whalloped Herb Wreenkle into unconciousness in 2:57, using a series of powerbombs!
Hex Jaxon blistered Tulip Givins with a Cobra Clutch submission in :59
JJ Pierce beat Moe Howard with a figure four in just 42 seconds
And finally, Symbol continued his winning ways by dismanteling Killer Karl Schmidt in 1:32 with a choke slam!
John: What an incredible treat for the fans to see over a dozen added
matches to this live card.. and some great action from the TCW!

Dan: Ryan "Primetime" Johnson continued his TCW return
tonight as he fought with former 2-time TWF Cruiserweight champion, Tito
Mendoza...
John: Tito has never been the same since that knee injury he received last year at the hands of the Unholy Alliance and it showed tonight against Johnson!
Dan: Yes it did...Johnson totally dominated from the beginning as he showed once again why he is recognized as one of the top wrestlers in the world! Tito was on the defensive from the beginning as Primetime was all over him with a smothering attack that included a series of suplexes, a few cheap shots and some heavy right hands... Johnson finished off the Mexican when he took him up top and then superplexed him from the top rope to get the duke.... anothe fine win by Johnson!!
Winner: Ryan "Primetime" Johnson..... 3:34
*************************************************
Dan: The TXO was back in action tonight and it was the veteran
combination of Barry Savage and JJ Pierce that were together again, to
take on the Tacos...
John: Savage and Pierce have teamed together for several years and are one of the true great teams over the course of the last five years or so!
Dan: Savage had been teaming with Eric Ray Vaugn as of late, but found himself back with his old partner after Vaugn was fired last week by Don Haney.... anyway, the TXO duo had nary a problem with the Tacos, working like a well oiled machine! Savage and Pierce simply crushed their luchadore opponents with Taco Tico winding up on the outside of the ring with a chair over his head and Taco Bell inside, pinned by JJ after a Savage Heartpunch!! Nice return to the action by Savage and Pierce!!
Winners: The TXO (Savage and Pierce)........2:11
*************************************************
Fritz Schmidt came out with a noticeable limp, courtesy of his beating last week, at the hands of Frank Letters! His opponent was Stanley Stanley..... Fritz used his big size and strength advantage to get in control of this match rather quickly.... Stanley didn't have a clue and came off looking every bit as pathetic as usual..... Fritz "knuckled up" and hit the cruiserweight with that big right hand and then popped on the Brain Claw!! Stanley was passing out from the intense pressure when.......
John: The Postman, who must have a dislike for the German populace, showed up with his mailbag and crowned Fritz over the skull, giving the big German the DQ victory!
Dan: Letters powerbombed Stanley, showing a dislike for everyone, and then started whomping Fritz with that big heavy mailbag!!
Winner: Fritz Schmidt by DQ.......2:02
*************************************************
As Letters continued his assault, Hans Schmidt came racing to
ringside, ready for his Revenge Match with Letters! The crowd was actually
up and cheering the Germans against Letters and Hans was a house of
fire.... for about twenty seconds!! Letters reached in his mailbag and
grabbed a can of pepper spray, which I'm sure he uses on crazy Canadian
pooches! Hans caught a full blast in the eyes and then took a severe
beating as referee Mike Hinson just stood by and watched!
Letters went wild and used a pair of postage scales on both Hans and Fritz.. bashing it against the side of their heads until blood poured!! Hinson finally had no choice but to call for the DQ, giving Letters his second loss in as many matches...
John: It didn't slow the Postman down at all as he basically knocked Hans out and then clamped on another figure four on the gimp legged Fritz... Hinson tried to intervene and got shot in the eyes with the pepper spray... Fritz passed out from the pain of the leglock and security was finally called to the ring in full force to break things up....
Dan: But both Germans were a mess, having to get immediate medical attention, as Frank Letters snaps again!!
Winner: Hans Schmidt by DQ..... :39
*************************************************
Dan: Falconer and Zanthur, better known as Onslaught got another big
win tonight as they were once again the better team in a matchup with the
portly team of Tons of Fun.... Onslaught used a great combination of speed
and power to get the win... Zanthru was able to get Jobber through the
ropes and to the floor, and then hook Elmer Adonis in a full nelson, while
Falconer came from up stairs to hit the flying missile dropkick and get
the win for his team.... this is a fine looking pair of athletes and I
expect them to make a move for tag team gold anytime!
Winners: Onslaught.........2:59
************************************************* In the back of the
theatre Ric Justus is seen walking out carrying his gym bag .. he gets
about five steps in the door and he is stopped by TCW reporter Tom Ripetto
.. setting down his bag he pushes his sunglasses down his nose as Dan
begins to talk **
Tom: Mr Justus if I can have a few words with you regarding your upcoming title defense with Hardcore Hexion ?
Justus: make it quick I ha ....
** As Ric is beginning to talk Barry Savage blindsides him and begins to lay a series of lefts and rights into Justus .. coming into the cameras view are the rest of the TXO , Steve Akers , Havok , Hexion , Colt Steele& JJ Pierce .. they crowd over Justus who is lost suddenly in the crowd .. as the crowd clears Colt and Havok are holding Justus up .. his shirt torn and his duster pulled down .. Barry grins and slaps his face .. security is quick to hit the scene but are held back by Steve Akers and Hexion who are holding chairs **
Bary: Hey Ric my man paybacks a (BLEEP) you wanna slap a broken heart on my back ... son you deserve this boy !
** Barry grins as ERV walks into view of the camera .. Justus sneers as a trickle of blood runs from his mouth .. ERV is holding a branding iron and he tosses it to Barry who grins .. ERV tears the rest of the shirt away and Barry lays the iron into the stomach of Justus .. as he grimaces in pain Barry laughs . the brand says "TXO" **
Barry: And this .. Haney you had better watch this too !
** Havok and Colt force Justus down on his face and ERV pulls out a can of spray paint and sprays the letters "EWA" on the back of the Heartbreaker , reaching into the bag of Justus Barry pulls out the TCW Extreme Title ... as they force Justus to stay ob the floor barry lays the belt into his back five or six times as the TXo make their escape Barry tosses the Extreme Title to Hexion **
John: Man!! The war between these two continues as the TXO has just trashed Justus and stole his Extreme belt.... Don Haney is headed to the ring now... oh me, he looks irate!
Haney: Listen up Savage! You just crossed the bounds of bad behavior tonight!!
Dan: Isn't that Jim Harper of the Hodgepodge in the front row?
John: Yes it is.. he was here last Sunday night as well....
Haney: (ranting and raving) ........As to what you just did!!! And let me tell you this as well... you dare to bring Eric Ray Vaugn back in to TCW after I have already fired him? That little move just cost you $5,000 buddy!! And the next time you try that, you might find yourself working exclusively for Jim Tow and the EWA!! As for Tow, let me tell you something you stinking punk... if you are so confident in yourself, let's me and you hook up at the upcoming PPV in a corporation match!
TCW vs. EWA.... corporate figure vs. corporate figure, and the man that gets the pinfall, owns the TCW!! How's that sound you little weasle? If you got the guts, you know where to respond... And after I beat you, then I want the EWA!! Got it.. now get lost you punk, you aren't allowed in my arenas!
John: Security is headed over to where Tow is seated and they are escorting him out.... that' not right! They can't do that, can they?
Dan: They have done it John... Haney has had Tow booted from the arena, and issued a challenge to him at the same time, offering the TCW as bait.. wow!!
John: This will be very interesting!
Dan: Whew.... well, John, I think our wrapup report is complete, it's
now your time to shine!
*************************************************
John: Thanks Dan for another great report, and now... it's time for
our first big live event of the night, as the Billion Dollar Man.. Ryan
Windsor, defends the TCW World Cruiserweight Title against the infamous
Mr. X!! Dan, this Mr. X thing has gotten out of control, as it started out
with Stanley Stanley in a mask but in the past two weeks, we have watched
as Stanley has been unmasked four times and then seen Tito Mendoza and
Silver Eagle, a pair of former TWF cruiserweights, under the hood!
Tonight, inside a steel cage, with Stanley Stanley in tow, Don Haney has
oredered the other Mr. X to sshow up and wrestle for the TCW Cruiserweight
Title... and finally, we get to see who the real Mr. X is!
Dan: The chicken wire and two by fours are up John, and Mr. X is in the ring....Ok, we here the Beastie Boys music crank up.... Slow Ride echoes through the building and that means that the billion dollar man is on the way!!
John: Windsor catches a few shreiks from the young ladies but the bulk of the crowd is treating him very un-nicely!! He struts down to the cage and laughs at it.... and his opponent, Mr. X.... apparently, the real Mr. X!!
Dan: Don Haney is headed down to ringside as Windsor heads into the cage and he has Stanley with him... here comes VP Moloney, with Tito Mendoza... and Gord Perry, with Silver Eagle..... All Right!! Now we know, this isn't some imposter, we got the real live Mr. X. the man who has twice attacked Windsor.. and he is in the ring with him!! The referee is Mike Hinson... All the former X's and the suits head back to the back and here we go....
John: X attacks but Windsor sidesteps him and tosses him face first into the chickenwire! X hits hard and the wire recils him back to Windsor who drops him with a back suplex and then plants a knee to the face! Windsor picks him back up and hits a swinging neckbreaker and then a guillotine leg drop across the throat... X is in big trouble as Windsor brings him back up... hard to the cage and he hits head first! The mask is ripped apart by the chicken wire..... Mr. X is on wobbly feet....
Dan: Windsor is going to the top rope and here he comes...
John: Missile dropkick connects.. right to the chest!! Mr. X is down....a cover by the champ... 1-------2-----3!!
Dan: He has destroyed Mr. X and now he's going for the mask.... Windsor is trying to take the mask off.... Stanley Stanley comes running into the area full blast and is yelling at the ref to stop Windsor!! But Hinson isn't able to do so and Ryan grabs the mask and yanks..... It's ....It's...
John: Skidmark Steve?? Skidmark is the brains behind Mr. X? Surely not?
Dan: Windsor DDT's Skidmark to the mat and grabs his belt... Stanley tries to come through the door but Windsor blasts him with that World CW strap and lays himout on the floor.... Windsor finally closes the door on the saga of Mr. X, as he crushes and then unmasks... Skidmark Steve, former TWF jobber! Windsor is arguing and laughing at the fans as he heads back to his cushy locker area
John: Look Out!! From the shadows.. Windsor just got blasted with a chair to the side of the head!! It's..... it's.... Mr. X!!
Dan: Another one? Windsor has beaten so many of them already!
John: But this looks like the real deal as he just power slammed the Champion on the concrete floor and now he's got a mic......
Mr. X: HaHaHa.... It's not going to be that easy punk!! Respect that belt my friend.. or prepare to pay!!
John: He tosses the mic on top of Windsor and walks away.... now then, that's the guy that has been the man... I think it's Tojo!!
Dan: Are you crazy, that may be Don Haney, for all we know.. anyone can be tough with a chair from behind, I think it's just another punk for Windsor to destroy on Thursday.., like bowling pins, line em up... he knocks them down!!
John: I don't hardly think so, but we will see
Winner: Ryan Windsor......... 1:40
*************************************************
John: And we have a huge tag team match up next, as Colt Steele and
Steve Akers will be defending the Mid-South Tag Titles against "Hardcore"
Havok and Hexion Jaxson!!
Dan: The amazing thing about this match, is that both teams are members of the TXO Inc., led by Barry Savage! So this should a very interesting fight indeed! I just wonder what will happen when the dust clears!!
John: Well, we're about to find out........HEY !! Here comes the entire TXO out to the ring.......
(Pyros explode as Hex and Havok, Akers and Steele, are all lead to the ring by the "Texas Outlaw" Barry Savage, and JJ Pierce. They all enter the ring and are shaking hands........now both teams are in their corners. Savage is talking to Akers and Steele, while JJ is going over a few things with Jaxson and Havok. Mack Tharp is calling for the bell to start the match, but Savage and JJ ignore him and keep talking to the two teams...........suddenly a voice is heard over the P.A........)
"Hey Savage....Pierce......how about ya get your old arses out of the ring and let this match start?
(The TXO all look down the ramp as VP Moloney steps out. He walks down the isle and tells John to get lost, then sets in his seat. Savage starts yelling at Moloney, but Jim ignores him. Savage starts to go after him, but Pierce holds him back. Savage and Pierce leave the ring, and grab a couple of seats at ringside........)
Jim: How are ya, Danny-boy?
Dan: Fine Jim.......hey, looks like this match is underway!! Hex and Akers lock up in the ring....collar and elbow........a mutual shove-off......
Jim: Both men circle each other........another lock-up....Akers pulls loose and steps behind Hex.........hammer-lock followed with a legsweep takedown...Akers is applying pressure on the arm........Hex makes it to the rope, and Akers releases on the four-count!!
Dan: Hex is back on his feet and is met with a forearm shot to the side of the head.... Akers grabs the wrist and sends Hex for the ride.....Akers catches Hex on the re-bound with a scoop slam! The crowd is really starting to get into this one!
Jim: Of course they are! I'm here and that's enough!
Dan: Anyway.......Hex is up to one knee and surprises Akers with a shoulder to the gut...Akers shakes it off and hammers Hex in the side of the head........Hex returns the fist.......we've got a slugfest going on!!
Jim: Look at Savage and JJ........ they are nodding in approval!
Dan: Well, Savage likes to know that his guys can play rough with the best of them!
Jim: Hex whips Akers into the ropes......clothesline....no!! Akers ducks low and bounces off the ropes with a flying shoulder!! Hex is down again!! Havok is desperatly reaching for a tag!
Dan: Hex is taking some punishment in there! Akers tags in Steele....Steele comes out flying and nails Hex with short-arm lariot!! A quick elbow drop by Steele......Hex is down and Steele is going to the top rope........flying elbow....
Jim: Hex rolls to the side!! Steele missed!!
Dan: Hex is crawling towards his corner.....the crowd is cheering......Hex with a dive and he makes the tag!!!
Jim: Havok is in the ring like a shot and is hammering Steele with some forearm shots.......now a standing dropkick......and another.........
Dan: Akers was about to step in the ring, but Savage shook his head no.......I guess Savage wants to keep this fight halfway fair, at any rate!!
Jim: Havok has some serious momentum going now.......a boot to the midsection, followed with an elbow to the back of the head........Steele is down on both knees.....Havok bounces off the ropes behind Steele and gives a low dropkick to the back!!!
Dan: That had to hurt!!! Steele is hurting now.....and Havok starts stomping away..... Steele is fighting to his feet though!! Here comes Akers to the ring.....now Hex is in ....we have a fourway battle happening here!! Referee Mack Tharp is trying to maintain some order..........Hex and Akers roll out of the ring and start slugging each other outside....
Jim: Looks like Savage and JJ are up.......they seperate Akers and Hex......Savage is talking to both of them.....they go back to their corners.......Steele breaks away from Havok and makes a tag to Akers......Havok tags in Hex!!
Dan: This could get interesting.......another lockup.......Hex with a boot to the mid-section.......he whips Akers into the ropes.......Hex with a criss-cross.......off the ropes again, and Hex catches Akers with a flying shoulder......Hex pulls Akers to his feet......tilt-a-whirl back-breaker!!
Jim: Hex grabs Akers by the hair and hauls him to his feet.........Akers with a low-blow......now Akers grabs Hex by the back of the neck......he runs Hex face first towards the corner.....
Dan: Hex, meet Mr. Turnbuckle!!!
Jim: Hex blocks it!! Again, Akers tries to slam Hex's head into the turnbuckle.....Hex blocks it once again....now a mule-kick by Hex......he grabs Akers and slams him into the opposite corner,.....Hex with a running start........BIG SPLASH!!!
Dan: Akers is down now.....Hex is motioning to the crowd.........he calling for his finisher!!
Jim: Hex pulls Akers into position..........HARDCORE PLUNGE!!!
Dan: He nailed it !!! Hex with a quick cover.......ONE
Jim: Hex hooks the far leg...
Dan: TWO......THREE!!! They've done it!!! We have new Mid-South Tag Champs!!!!!
Jim: Loose Cannons have beaten the odds to over power their own stable mates!! Steele and Akers do not look happy at all!! I wonder if this will cause some problems within the ranks......?
Dan: Well, now both teams are nose to nose......Savage and JJ are in the ring, they step in between the four guys.....
Jim: I think Savage may have to do some fast talking to keep this one from exploding right here..........
Dan: I think Savage has it under control...........
John: What a match, as the team of Havok and Hex Jaxon have taken the tag titles here tongih.... What!!
Dan: The lights just went out fans.. and this old theatre is absolutely pitch dark!! Fans are yelling and sreaming as the PA announcer tells everyone to remain seated and remain calm... and, oh here we go! They are back on....
John: Inside the ring Dan, Look!!
Dan: Hex and Havok are laid out on their backs... with the belts across their chests.... Colt Steele and Steve Akers have vanished! Savage and JJ jump in the ring to check on their compadres.... what in the world? The lights couldn't have been off over 15 -20 seconds!! Who attacked the Loose Cannons and where are Akers and Colt Steele? What is going on here?
Winners: New Mid SOuth Champions: Havok and Hex (Loose
Cannons).......12:12
*************************************************
Dan: Believe it or not folks, the main event of the evening is here!
John: And it's an outtake from the wildness of last week that saw Think
Tank and Loose Cannons turn into the additions of Aeon Flux and Dealers In
Smack. Pure wildness folks.
Dan: This week however, The Think Tank get a shot against the World Tag-Team Champions many times over, Lobo And Odin.
John: Success followed them from the TWF to the TCW and they remain on top as always. What a night to be a wrestling fan. It's a treat to see these 4 greats in the ring.
Dan: Lobo and HSTGonzo are going to start things off. Test of strength... no, HST with a kick to the gut. Snap suplex.
John: Nice quick start. Odin runs in and is restrained by the referee. JF quietly climbs in and stomps away at Lobo. Odin is screaming now and lunges forward.
Dan: The referee gets caught between Odin and JF. He falls to the ground.
John: All four men are now going at it. Odin and Lobo are paired off and so are JF and HST... What the heck? They just realized they had the wrong guys, turn and go after the other teams.
Dan: There's going to be some red faces in the locker room later. Lobo forward and clotheslines JF over the top rope. Lobo climbs out, and rams the head of JF into the guardrail.
John: Meanwhile in the ring Odin's got HST in a figure-four and is squeezing the life out of him. HST desperately pulls himself to the ropes. No referee to make the break. He pulls himself through the ropes, and falls to the ground. Odin is catapulted over the ropes and onto the ground below.
Dan: JF now had Lobo halfway down the ramp. They're rolling on the floor punches flying like crazy.
John: HST is on top of the ropes and comes down hard with a splash.
Dan: And JF and Lobo are now backstage. A big tub of guacamole was just launched at JF from Lobo. That'll cost him about $3.95 when Haney hears about this.
John: Odin has recovered with a second wind and is now going to work on HST.
Dan: Uh oh, the referee is awake. He notices no one is around and is starting a very slow 10 count.
John: It's going to have to be Odin or HST that gets back in the ring because Lobo and JF aren't coming back. They're outside now making a spectacle of themselves in front of about 30 spectators.
Dan: Odin with a vertical suplex onto the concrete. HST is writhing in pain. The referee is up to 6.
John: JF just speared Lobo outside. The druken fans loved that and are cheering like crazy.
Dan: Odin on the guardrail, hits a guillatine legdrop on HST.
John: The bell is ringing, but the fight isn't over!
Dan: The fight ensues outside. Security isn't going to stop this one. And fans, we're out of time here unfortunately. Stay tuned for "When Electricity Backfires" next on the network.
John: Goodnight
